Privacy policy

This policy covers the Cross Harp website and the Cross Harp, Gig Tuner, Click Two Three, and Harmonetta Map apps published by Hal4D Consulting. Features differ by app and platform; the sections below identify those differences.

Information you choose to save

App settings and music you create or import—such as custom tunings, songs, setlists, scores, chord sequences, and presets—are stored on your device. The apps do not require an account to use these features. You can remove data using the app's available controls, clear its app data, or uninstall it. Your operating system may include local app data in an iCloud, Google, or device backup, depending on your settings; Hal4D Consulting does not receive those backups.

Microphone and audio

Cross Harp and Gig Tuner request microphone permission for their tuner features. Pitch analysis runs on your device. The tuner does not record, store, or upload microphone audio. Click Two Three and Harmonetta Map generate playback audio on your device and do not need microphone access for that playback.

Cross Harp imports and requested connections

Cross Harp can store music files and recognized notation that you choose to import on your device. If you enter a Seydel configurator ID, the app requests the matching configuration PDF from seydel1847.de; Seydel can receive that ID and ordinary network information, including your IP address. If you use a share command, the destination you choose receives the shared content under its own privacy practices.

Website and contact

When you visit crossharp.app, the web server necessarily receives ordinary request information such as your IP address and the page or feature requested. If you submit the contact form, we receive the name, email address, and message you provide so we can reply. The form is delivered through our contact-email provider. Do not include sensitive information in your message.

Purchases

Optional app purchases or tips are processed by Apple or Google, as applicable. Their payment and account policies apply. Hal4D Consulting does not receive your payment-card details.

Advertising and tracking

These apps do not use third-party advertising or cross-app tracking. We do not sell personal information.

Children and changes

These tools are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If a feature's data practices change, we will update this policy and any required app-store disclosures.
